Activating your Lucky Mobile SIM card
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to activate your SIM card. You can do this easily online or by calling 1-833-88-LUCKY (58259).
During the initial activation, you’ll need to make a payment. You can do this by using a credit card or a Visa Debit card. Alternatively, if you’d like to pay with cash, you can purchase a Top-Up card in denominations of $15, $25 & $50 at a Giant Tiger location.
Top-up Cards can also be purchased using cash at the following locations and are available at most convenience stores, grocery stores and gas stations across Canada:

We’ll automatically add funds from your credit card, Visa Debit or bank account to your account balance every month to cover your Total Monthly Charges. I bought a SIM Card at Giant Tiger, how do I get my bonus credit?
To be eligible for the bonus credit:
- Activate your Lucky Mobile SIM Card
- Make an initial payment for your first month
- Top-Up to cover the total monthly charges for your second month
Once you have completed these three actions, a $20 bonus credit will be applied to your account within 5 – 10 business days.
I activated my SIM Card prior to January 25, 2021. Will I get the $20 bonus credit?
If you activate before January 25, 2021, you will receive the $20 bonus credit in installments of $5 over a 5-month period.
Upon each consecutive Top-Up after your first month, a $5 bonus credit will be applied to your account within 5-10 days. To be eligible for all bonus credits (total of $20), you must cover your total monthly charges (plan + add-ons) for months 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Instead of topping up each month, I added funds to cover 2 or more months of my plan.. Will I receive the bonus credit?
Yes, you will receive your $20 bonus credit within 5 – 10 business days following your second monthly charge date.
I am an existing Lucky Mobile customer and I bought a Top-Up card at Giant Tiger, am I eligible to get the bonus credit?
The bonus credit offer is not eligible for existing customers at this time. This offer is only available for new Lucky Mobile customers that purchase and activate a SIM Card from Giant Tiger.
I made my initial payment but I forgot to Top-Up my account and never received my bonus credit. What can I do to get it?
As long as you complete your second Top-Up to cover the total monthly charges for a second month (before your account is deactivated) you will be eligible to receive the bonus credit.
Can I use my bonus credit towards my monthly charges?
Yes. You can use the bonus credit towards either Service Passes or put them towards your monthly charges.
If you’ve registered for Automatic Top-Up, we will deduct the funds required to cover your total monthly charges (Plan + Add-Ons if applicable) and your bonus credit will be carried over and can be used to purchase Service Passes.
I topped up successfully but didn’t receive a SMS confirming that I will receive the bonus credit. What should I do?
If you did not receive a SMS confirming that your bonus credit has been applied, please login to My Account or use the Lucky Mobile My Account App to check if the offer has been applied. You’ll find this information under the ‘My Balance’ or ‘Manage your Add-Ons’ sections.

Where can I see the bonus credit in My Account or with the Lucky Mobile My Account App?
Bonus credits are displayed under the ‘Account Balance’ section when you log into either My Account or the Lucky Mobile My Account App.
